  1. How far in advance do we need to book?

  9. We have several ideas concerning the type of entertainment we would like.  Can you help us?

  1. How far in advance do we need to book?

As a rough guide we would advise 12 to 18 months for any type of live music i.e. Band / String quartet / Pianist / Harpist / Toastmaster etc.  8 to 12 months minimum for a mobile discotheque.          <Back to top>

  1. Do you have any references?

YES.  They are available upon request together with clients and a list of noteworthy venues with whom we are proud to be associated.          <Back to top>

  1. How do we pay the artiste and will you require a deposit?

A deposit is paid by cheque on signing and returning one of our contracts.  The balance is paid in CASH on the artiste's arrival at the venue.          <Back to top>

  1. Can we speak to the toastmaster / band before the day?

Yes.  Once we have received your confirmation of the booking.          <Back to top>

  1. Can we specify the type of music to be played?

Yes.  In the case of a band their set list will have already been discussed with all prospective bookers.  However "special requests" are always welcome.  All our Disc Jockeys' carry a very wide selection of music to suit all tastes and occasions.  In the case of a wedding reception booking we will ask for your first dance choice and personal preferences early in the booking process.          <Back to top>

  1. Can we control the overall volume?

Yes.  In the rare case of this matter arising, simply point this matter out to the band or Disc Jockey.          <Back to top>

  1. The lighting can sometimes be too bright or dazzling!

We always consider the size of the venue, the nature of the function and any special requests which you may have made prior to the event.  Therefore this scenario is very rare.  However please speak to the artiste on the night, who will make any adjustments as you consider necessary.          <Back to top>

Most certainly.  From experience we have found that certain types of entertainment will compliment each other, whilst others may not mix well.  We are always here to help and advise you in your decision making.          <Back to top>

  1. Our venue has insisted that the discotheque must have public liability insurance / P.A.T. test certificate.  Will this cause a problem?

No, we can provide Mobile Discotheques that meet the current electricity at work act (P.A.T. test) and also carry public liability insurance.          <Back to top>

  1. What happens if we have to cancel?

Like any other business we will retain the original deposit.  However in the case of the outstanding balance we would draw your attention to the cancellation clause on our contracts.  If the booking is cancelled within 60 days of the event, the outstanding balance will be sought.          <Back to top>
